Dog Groomers or Do It Yourself
Dog groomers are professionals when it comes to getting your dog looking neat and trim. They pamper and take care of your furry friend with all the basics; a good wash and shampoo, hair cutting or trimming, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, and etc..
They are a great help, especially if you don't have the time, and you have the extra money. Of course, brushing your furry friend's coat daily is recommended, as is brushing or cleaning their teeth. Then, a bath would also be needed if they should somehow find a mud puddle. We, or most of us, can pretty much handle those tasks, but what happens if we need to give them a cut or a trim. You may have a certain breed such as a Poodle, Bichon Frise, Labrador Retriever, or a Chow Chow. We sure want to make them look good, and we can go for it, and grab the scissors, making sure not to do any bodily injury, and in the end, they will pretty much look half way decent. Sound familiar? Maybe you did your research before you got your four-legged friend, and thought ahead on the type of dog you wanted. Went as far as thinking about dog groomers and the cost, and ended up with a short haired Terrier or a Chihuahua, which are low maintenance as far as grooming is concerned.
One can expect to pay a professional groomer on average of about $30 to $100, depending on the size of breed, type of hair on the breed, and what you need or want done. Costs will also vary by area.
If you know the basics, but you want to learn more about keeping your pet healthy by grooming, and you simply want that "professional touch", then why not
